posted by: rinna (reply) post date: 04.03.05 (10:24 pm) Ah, DST. The one time of year I run around like a mad chook. Even when it's just my own time to adjust, every decent-thinking organism in my brain shuts down. :s I'm hopeless. Now, you, go sleep some. :P posted by: BerlinBear (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (12:40 am) I don't get it. You are at least the third person I've read complaing about daylight savings this week (Dave Barry had a crack at it, so you're in good company). But it's odd. I love daylight savings. In my book more daylight = good. And I don't understand how anybody can make the equation more daylight = bad. Very odd you people ;-) posted by: BerlinBear (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (12:40 am) As for the quiz, I can name one of the artists and that's it. "Must work harder" clearly. posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (9:35 am) Reply to: rinna Actually, I think I am the hapless dolt. No matter, what I do, I make them too hard. Grrrrrr. :) posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (9:36 am) Reply to: rinna Actually, I think I am the hapless dolt. No matter, what I do, I make them too hard. My 3rd period class (I'm a teacher) wrote to him one year and he wrote back. He's a kick. j posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (9:39 am) Reply to: BerlinBear Which one can you name? posted by: BerlinBear (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (10:41 am) Reply to: juniperflux The first one. It has to be the Cure, right? Dunno the name of the song though. posted by: filbert (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (11:12 am) 1) The Cure - One more time. 3)Nick Drake - time has told me. 4) Sting - All this time. I don't know number two. *wink* posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (11:36 am) Reply to: filbert I'm smiling right now. posted by: bloweyelashwish (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (3:03 pm) ..I miss you when I'm dreaming, like I never do when you're around.... Can you name the song and/or artist from those lyrics? posted by: shadowmusic (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (4:50 pm) I'm gonna take a pass on this one... but it looks like Filbert did a decent job, except for (2) Mandalay : Kissing the Day. posted by: pleasantly shocked (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (5:22 pm) *cocks eyebrow... favorite non-liverpudlian... posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (8:06 pm) Reply to: bloweyelashwish Hmmmmmm. I know I should. And they're somewhere in the recesses of my mind, but I cannot put my finger on them. Don't just say ok (dork) tell me who I have missed. Sorry for failing your test. posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (8:09 pm) Reply to: shadowmusic Delightful. You know... I really need a new copy of that Mandalay album. Are you gonna hook me up or what? ;-) j posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.04.05 (8:12 pm) Reply to: pleasantly shocked I hear those Liverpudlians are quite a brutal lot, actually. When you're not looking, they steal your shoes. j posted by: bloweyelashwish (reply) post date: 04.05.05 (12:20 pm) Area - Radio Caroline CD. You sent it to me back in 'the days'. posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.05.05 (1:58 pm) Reply to: bloweyelashwish Gosh. I completely forgot about that. I haven't listened to that CD in ages. It's cool you still like it. j posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.05.05 (2:33 pm) Reply to: bloweyelashwish Do you remember the day you got it? You called me. "Michael Writes His Parents." That is a wonderful memory. j posted by: bloweyelashwish (reply) post date: 04.05.05 (3:03 pm) I do remember that day, and other things you sent and why you sent them. The book sits atop my desk at work among its fishy friend books. posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 04.05.05 (3:04 pm) Reply to: bloweyelashwish See. Now you told me that you had throw it away during one of your many moves. I'm smiling now for sure. j |
