I'm lost on the third, still. posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 03.24.05 (4:51 pm) Reply to: brogonzo Are only the first three working? Grrrrrrrr. :) posted by: brogonzo (reply) post date: 03.24.05 (5:01 pm) Reply to: juniperflux No, those are just the only ones I'd tried at that point. Heh. posted by: lindy (reply) post date: 03.24.05 (5:07 pm) I am now officially a loser. I got the obvious Led Zeppelin 'Friends' I got the Beatles 'Here comes the sun' I heard some Floyd, perhaps. I know the song 'They' but... ? Gem maybe... the last song bothers me because it seems so familiar, but I can't place it. You see... I'm a loser baby, so why don'tcha kill meeeee... I am stumped. posted by: shadowmusic (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (4:05 am) The "hints" were a very clever addition! Track 4 was the trickiest for me for some reason, 'til I checked your hint. All of this reminds me of the WKRP episode with the "Name the Song" contest: http://www.cpol.net/tuneman/6songanswer.wav posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (6:31 am) Reply to: lindy No way. You're fabulous. But I challenge you to listen to the first one again. YOU KNOW IT. We've even TALKED ABOUT IT. :) j posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (6:33 am) Reply to: shadowmusic I *had* to add hints lest you win them all, silly. :) I *love* being compared to WKRP! :) How fantastic! I'll let you decide which on-air personality I am. xoxo j posted by: lindy (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (7:32 am) Reply to: juniperflux Now, you see... that first one is nagging at me tremendously... okay... *listening again... posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (8:59 am) Reply to: shadowmusic And your guesses are??? posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (8:59 am) Reply to: lindy YOU KNOW THIS ONE! j posted by: shadowmusic (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (9:21 am) Reply to: juniperflux My guesses (as usual, abbreviated and encoded with "A" when I mean "B", "B" when I mean "C", etc. so as not to ruin it for all): (1) C:II (2) A:GBSR (3) KY:E (4) A:SFZ (5) I:S (6) R:KXL And regarding your question about which on-air WKRP personality you are... hmm... Johnny Fever? Venus Flytrap? No, without a doubt, it's gotta be Bailey Quarters. :-) posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (9:23 am) Reply to: shadowmusic Oh my stars... you make me laugh. Oh, how you make me laugh. As long as I'm not Les Nessman I think I'm ok. :) xoxo j posted by: newbie (reply) post date: 03.25.05 (9:29 am) Reply to: juniperflux To quote Mr. Carlson: "As God is my witness . . .
