"Superfreak" by Rick James (we had a skeleton that sang that song and danced in the frat house, and it's in loving memory, right?) I'll think of more. posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (10:33 am) Reply to: brogonzo Ooooh! Good suggestions, Ian. I'm thinking I should one day do a list of "The Best Songs For Ian To Sing While Drunk And At A Karaoke Bar!" :) Keep 'em coming! posted by: shadowmusic (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (10:39 am) Bel Canto: "Spiderdust" Siouxsie: "Halloween" Oingo Boingo: "Dead Man's Party" Book of Love: "Witchcraft" Japan (David Sylvian): "Ghosts" Plus: New Wave Halloween: http://www.rockymusic.org/cds/new-wave-halloween.html posted by: brogonzo (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (10:44 am) I suppose you'd need one or two from "Little Shop of Horrors." And even though I personally hate it, probably one from "Rocky Horror Picture Show." Oh - there's a demon in "The Greatest Song in the World - Tribute" by Tenacious D. Not a bad addition to the mix, and it has some great air-guitar moments. posted by: olygirl71 (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (10:47 am) How 'bout those good ole oldies....Monster Mash, Little Red Riding Hood, Itsy-bitsy-teeny-weeny-yellow-poka-dot-bikini (that can't be the actual name of that song.), The purple-people eater. you get the idea. :) posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (10:50 am) Reply to: brogonzo Well, it's hardly Halloween without the D! :) posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (10:50 am) Reply to: olygirl71 I was wondering when someone would suggest The Mash, Liz! Great suggestions! Are you helping her put together the mix? posted by: brogonzo (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (2:38 pm) Don't forget "Werewolves of London" by the late, great Warren Zevon. posted by: juniperflux (reply) post date: 10.15.04 (10:45 pm) Reply to: brogonzo Excellent choice! But, she never asked me (ahemm.) There is only room for one musical genious in the crowd and that is YOU!!! Plus, my schedule is nothing less than insane. Cookies, sewing, kids, church, volunteering, school & work. How do I do it?! As for the Mash...it just wouldn't be a Halloween party without that one. posted by: DarkMood (reply) post date: 10.18.04 (1:45 pm) :) Ahhh a fellow Halloween lover. The list goes like this for me. Alice Cooper - 1. Teenage Frankenstien 2. Feed my Frankenstien 3. The Man behind the Mask (Made for one of the Friday the 13 movie). Ozzy Osbourne 1. Zombie Stomp KISS 1. God of Thunder 2. Unholy Dokken 1. Dream Warriors Motley Crue 1. Shout at the Devil Rob Zombie 1. Dragula - or anything by him Type 0 Negative 1. 12 Black Rainbows - most of there stuff will do. I could go on but I'll make this list kind of short. :) Great Blog posted by: jenxer (reply) post date: 10.19.04 (9:42 am) I haven't had much time of late to request help (ahem) from my good friend and neighbor, but I will. Can't wait to put together this crazy mix. So many good suggestions. All I could think of was Ministry's Halloween (drilled into my head year after year). Or the One Eyed Purple People Eater. I knew there must be more to Halloween music than that. posted by: shadowmusic (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (11:01 am) For those of you with iTunes: "Eighties Halloween Party": http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPublishedPlaylist?id=129866 posted by: shadowmusic (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (11:06 am) Here's the Halloween music list from the great site http://www.dailytunes.com/ : http://www.dailytunes.com/songlist.php?mode=theme&genreid=31 posted by: jenxer (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (6:46 pm) Reply to: brogonzo Love the Tenacious D album. posted by: jenxer (reply) post date: 10.20.04 (6:52 pm) I can't believe noone already suggested Bela Lugosi's Dead by Bauhaus.
